I used Performance Century shorts because I like the way they fit me. I've tried many brands and models, and these work both because of the fit and the reasonable price (and they go on sale a couple times each year.) I haven't had a problem with sweat, but chafing is an occasional problem. I've found some Vaseline, applied pre-ride to certain areas, does a good job of prevention.
