If the owner can't lower the price and still keep the company afloat, I think selling the design to a bigger company might be worthwhile venture. However I would acquire some kind of patent and legal advice before contacting anyone.
Personally I don't have an expert opinion but I like the bike's design. It doesnt strike me as that "original" though.
