Thanks, but I'm going to pass on a seat post that costs $90-150. Unless I'm missing something searching for it, that seems to be about the price point they're at. The bike isn't remotely worth that (28-29 year old department store special that my dad gave me). I'm all for keeping what I have in good working order, don't get me wrong about that, but $90 is out of the question.

As it stands right now when our systems guy gets back from lunch I'm snagging his wrench set and going to readjust the seat post to get it where its safe to ride home. I'll then just switch back to my commuter MTB until I can find a suitable replacement seat post.
