I haven't used a lot of other pedals, but I like my Time ATACs. I think there are some rabid fans of them lurking around here. They have a reputation for being indestructable (not exactly my experience though) and for never clogging up with mud/snow/ice (which is my experience). I would say they have sufficient float.
