Obviously not from Rapid City, but I have ridden up there. One of the best rides I have ever had was out west of town on Nemo Rd. Climb on the way out is not too bad. I rode it on a Sunday morning and there was little traffic. Although it was a few years ago, the pavement was in great shape. I rode it in June that year and the Chokecherries were in full bloom and it had been raining earlier in the week so all the grass was green. It was one of the 10 best rides that I have ever had, and I have been riding since 1978 (including 2 years in Spain, 2 years in Germany and at leat 11 states) If you want to, you can even ride to Roubaix on that road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
