Removing Hollowtech II Cranks (spindle stuck in BB)

I've sarched around but can't find any removal tips relating to the hollowtech II crank removal.

Firstly let me explain what I have:

Currently installed is a tiagra 4500 hollowtech II crankset+BB.
I want to install my dura ace 7800 hollowtech II cranks, I also have a used 7800 BB.

When researching into switching it around, it looked to me that BB installation was complicated to the point I would mess it up. So my new plan was to just switch out the current cranks and put in the 7800s without having to change the BB. I guess at this point someone may tell me this isn't possible, but i'll go on.

So far I have removed the left crank arm and tried to remove the right hand one but the spindle is well and truly stuck, still rotates freely but it refuses to budge. I've tried tapping it with a sledge hammer as I don't want to do any dammage.. I think I have a rubber mallet somewhere but i just want to check there isn't something i've missed?

Thanks
