I gave up coffee a few years ago. Actually, it gave me up. I lost my taste for it after decades of MUST HAVE MY COFFEE in the morning before I would become functional. Immediately I lost a bunch of weight (but that may have had alot to do with what I was eating with my coffee--cakes disguised as muffins). I also found myself strangely calm at a world I had grown so angry at. I can't drink the stuff anymore. It makes me jittery and anxious and kinda paranoid feeling. Strange. I do drink tea in the mornings, but if I run out or forget, it's not like I miss it. No headaches or anything. Orange juice will do just as well.
