I guess could clarify a little. I honestly thought the course was great. Just not for someone of my particular specialty. It was in a nice area with a very nice setting, and the event itself was very well organized and the races well executed. I especially liked the lead and follow scooters.
If I had the day to do over again, I definitely wouldn't have ridden in the morning. It wouldn't have helped me place any better, but I would have felt better about being shot out the back like a wet turd and probably would have gone ahead and finished.
