If you have a good relationship with your postman, you can ask him to throw the packages onto your backporch. When I order my biker shorts and other stuff, my postman goes to the back fence, reaches around the corner of the house and tosses all packages onto my backporch. My dog Daisy
is really zealous about guarding any packages that she can get to. You can't ask for a better package security system than that.

PS: You can call UPS and ask them to hold a package for you to pick up. The seller should send you a UPS tracking number through email and you can make arrangements for pick up at their main office.
