The boy (my step son) and nephew are 18 and 19 and have been best friends since they were both little and both got jobs working for the same grocery store that is about 5 km from home.
I was talking to the boy this morning as he as getting ready for work and asked why he was not riding his bike there...
He said they have
already asked the store manager where he (and his cousin) can securely lock up their vintage rides (70's Peugeots) and he asked me to pick him up a new shackle and cable today (he will pay me back).
I also offered to show them the best route for getting there as I used to work in that neighbourhood.
