I bought a rear wheel used and was told it was built up at bicycle therapy that has held up well for me. I am a heavy for a rider, 215-220, and it has only been trued twice in about 1 1/2 years. Once cause I had a slow flat I didn't realize until I had issue hopping a low curb at the end of my commute which probably did it in. Second time it was only a slight hop which developed from me being lazy, heavy, and not keeping the pressure up. It rode fine but my OCD forced me to fix it.

I haven't owned other hand built wheels but would say you can't go wrong if their price is right and you leave nearby. I have also heard good things about Bicycle Revolutions so if they are similar in price maybe you should go with them.
