If you are going fixed gear or single speed, then there is no reason to go for the full-sized bike in my opinion. The Swift will perform just as well -- if not better -- and can handle drop bars. The Swift's weakness is that it lacks the typical gearing choices; specifically standard front/rear derailer gearing.
