the inter diameter of your head tube should be 1/100" larger than the lip's outer diameter of the cup/race than will be press in to it. bigger the tube , bigger the cups will be. therefore the wider the steering tube will be. the best tool to use here would be calipers and measure the opening in 4 points and take the adv. of them.
