And actually, where I've been riding is one of the horsey/bikey kind of MUPs, and as it is a single-track in the woods, visibility is quite low. I think I need to hang a bear bell from my bike to alert others I'm coming.

So, anyway, the next obvious question is, how do distinguish the difference between a paved MUP and a cinder/limestone or dirt MUP?
