I'm down from 100kg (220lb) in May to 80kg (175lb) in Nov. That's just under a kilo per week. Another 10kg to go to reach first target weight of 70kg by Feb, then maybe onwards to 65kg for racing but I'll let the doc decide on that score.
Weight is peeling of naturally with minor adjustments to diet (eg. replace coke with fruit juice, reduce alcohol), more frequent eating instead of 3 large meals, and good training. I'm eating loads more now but metabolic rate is much higher, so it's all getting burned up. Whoop.
I also lost over 10kg by buying a new bike
Al is so much lighter than steel.
