I have finished cleaning it up and installed new brake cables, I kept the gyro in the end, as it seems a waste to get rid of it, and it doesn't lose anything from having it on there does it? besides maybe looking a little less clean?

The rear hub has sealed cartridge bearings, so I couldn't regrease them, went to a good bike shop in Tokyo and they said that they don't have that size bearing (and can't order one in) so only option is to replace the hub (I am dubious, maybe the guy was being lazy), but it spins ok for my learning purposes.

Anyway, here are some photos I took today (on my phone, so not crystal clear, sorry)
