That's what I thought until I rode my Stumpjumper. Modern full suspension bikes with propedal valving or similar do not exibit the pogoing you love to talk about. I could climb the hill in maddmaxx's photo much easier and faster on my full suspension bike than I ever could have with my hardtail. Do yourself a favor and ride a FS bike with a good rear shock and suspension design. You'll change your tune.
