I am going on an overseas trip next month and I have a
dilemma.
Option 1: Use my Garmin
Nuvi 200W to navigate through Wales, London, and Paris......Notes: Screen is nice and big, but only 5 hours of battery life.
Option 2: Use my
Garmin Edge 705, with a small but readable screen, and have a smaller, lighter weight (maybe about the same) option with a 15 hour battery life.
Question, have any of you used the 705 on a trip overseas? I would probably load all of the destinations beforehand, and I would only use it in the event we got lost or something.
Any feedback on this?
Also, if the moderators would like to move this, I would understand. Isn't FOO the place you put things that don't belong??
Edit: If I do any biking, it will only be for one day in Wales. So, don't factor biking into the answer. It's just sight seeing.
