I do some free weight work (nothing major), some hiking, try to eat better, and I try to get in a good yoga session everyday. I've been practicing yoga for about three years; it really stretches my muscles out after a ride, helps me develop balance and strength, helps me develop mental focus and flow, and I know it's saved me a lot of times from being more injured than I would have during a crash.
What do you do to enhance your off-road riding?
Work out pretty hardcore, run, and do spinning classes. Soon enough I'll start swimming because I want to attempt a mini-triathlon next year
It'll be my first season of mountain bike racing next year
