i bought a browning just like yours on sunday. do you have any idea what kind of tool i need to take off the headset? or the bottom braket? strange bike. frame seems pretty nice though. any info you have on brownings would be appreciated. The internet hasnt provided me with much thus far.

I've never dealt with a Browning, but the headset wouldn't be torqued too tight. It may be possible to loosen it with a Channellock that has plastic tape wrapped around its jaws to protect the chrome plating on the parts. The bearings may be loose ball.
No idea about the BB.
