Mine comes in with me and sits by my desk at day job, night job it gets locked up under an outside staircase that I can see while I work. Night job is in downtown Baltimore and I use the Kryptonite NYC Chain. Downtown bmore can be dodgy and I have know quite a few people who have had bikes stolen there, myself included. Just make sure you have a good lock and lock it to something solid and you should be fine.
