Dood, I would say yes. I am about your size and fall at times betwen sizes. I just bought a LArge sized Gary Fisher, Iwas torn between the med & large...I teded to go smaller based uponold school Mt bike rules...I say get it Ya may need to change a stem. It will be alright..
