The other ride would be to turn right at Wetmore and ride into Florence and Canon City. I think that from P-town to Canon City that way is about 35 miles one way.

A ride out highway 78 to Beulah is also nice if the traffic is light. Get a good county map, because there are some smaller paved roads to take back to town, I just can't remember what the road numbers are, but you see what I'm talking about on the map.
