I've been riding to work in the dark for the last month. Today's switch won't help, it'll still be dark when I go to work.
Since I can work any 8 hours I want, in the winter I leave for work at 4AM and work 5AM to 1PM, usually I actually leave at 2 or 3, get a couple of hours of OT in and still leave before twilight.
BTW, it's daylight saving time, not savings.
