Its the same area that miguel martinez is from and trains (2nd in the olympics). planning on going back in the spring to try a local race. lance has a house in girona, which is about 30mins from there, and its a centre for a lot of pro roadies and mtb'ers. really good variety of stuff to do, there are miles and miles of unbroken singletrack which is brilliant. also, loads of unbelievably fast doubletrack and some killer climbs. i would reccomend it to anyone at any level of riding ability cause the people running it can cater for all. the climbs nearly killed me the first few days but after a while i got used to it and managed to pace it up some of them. you'd nearly want a full face helmet on some of the downhills though, scary stuff!
