Neither of these frames is pro caliber..but for mere mortals they are both fine. Sure there are going to be subtle differences in how they ride, but without extended test riding, you aren't going to know really which one is best for you. For a beginner, the differences in these frames are irrelevant. Aluminum and steel are both great frame materials. Go with what's cheaper or the one you like better.
