Hey folks!

My name's Shaun. I'm 18, and I live in Berlin, Connecticut. I've only been really into cycling for maybe 8-10 months, but it's now my primary means of transportation. I'm vegan straight edge, which I'm proud of, so it may seem like I'm totally preachy. I try to keep natural and organic when I can, but much of the time, processed food is just convenient.

My bike that I ride is a Surly Steamroller. I will be outfitting it for winter pretty soon (I have fenders and some 700x30 tires for it) I have a Mercier Kilo TT, but the fork broke after I hit a curb because I was relatively new to riding at the time, and then the replacement fork broke due to factory defect, and I can't make my way to go pick up the new fork because I don't drive.

I plan on going on a tour from Connecticut to California this summer, I'll be getting a Surly Long Haul Trucker to ride for the trip. I'm really stoked for that trip, and it's actually why I joined this forum, I want to learn from everyone.
