there is a guy that I see who commutes everyday on a felt cubside. the geometry and the flashy colors and top-tube pad just make him look goofy. the bicycle looks like it was primarily designed in a marketing room by guys in suits who's aim was to sell a lifestyle and this kid bought into it because he wanted to be cool too. And $700? You'd be better served with another aluminum complete that is less of a gimmick and not as expensive. The components are not bad, but definitely not worth $700. I'd be patient and pick up another aluminum frame that you like ("non-80s racer style" or whatever that means) and just build it up with components that you like. Get the headset and bottom-bracket installed professionially and do the rest yourself. You'll save money or have more money to spend on higher quality stuff and you wont look like a sucker on the street.
