Well the last email from the shop sounds promising.

Just got off the phone with Specialized. they are sending out a new frame and
rear shock. They still had frames with canti mounts so your old parts should
mount over. Also they are including a new rear fox shock at no charge so your
bike will be updated. The frame and shock should arrive later this week. I will
give you a call so we can get your old
frame in here. If you have any questions

I'm electing to just swap the frames and put it together myself. I'll see what they give me and make a decision then to put it together or ebay the frame.
