I think Kinesis is a aluminium frame fabricator based in Portland Oregon and they make a lot of mountain bike frames for some of the big name MTB brands. I'm surprised to see that they released a bike frame under their own brand tho...
Not sure if they have a sister company in Taiwan, but have a look and see where it's made (should be down the lower end of the seat tube. Regardless, the build on those frames should be top notch as the fabricator has been around (invisibly) for a long time now, with a wealth of experience one would expect.
