Conditions on the last day of fall in Ottawa:
Temperature: -33 C (~ -25 F)
Wind Direction: In my face
Wind Speed: Strong

Gave the equipment the big test on Monday.

Verdict:
Bike: Rapid Fire shifter grease froze about 30 min's in. Need to remember to keep it in a good gear for climbing and cruising once she becomes a single speed.
Feet: not warm enough - one area needing improvement. In spite of multi-layers, still very cold. Need additional heat.
Torso: Too hot
Legs: Toasty

Face: Wearing balaclava with neoprene mask, but need a way to stop breath/moisture from getting into goggles. Took off the goggles about 5 min's in, and had icicle eyelashes in about 10 sec's, but way easier to see than with googles. No bigee, though.

Result: As soon as I get some toe-warmers, I'm ready to rock down to -30 or below. -11 C (+10 F) today and it felt like a warm summer's day. Bring on the cold!
