you shouldnt have any problem using a standard chain breaker. the one you linked is specifically designed for 3/16" bmx chain. it just happens to, like a standard chain tool, also work on 1/8" chains.
going to go with "wrong" on this one.
i had three chain tools. only one of them worked on my 1/8" chains. it broke. now i have two. neither of them work on my track chains.
i went to the shop and got a tool specifically for bmx/track chains. now i have three. one of them works on my 1/8" chains. two of them don't.
oddly enough, the two that don't work on my track chains work on my road chains.
