You presume too much...I like my presence to be known long before...and after...I am actually there.
Indeed, having my clothing get up and walk to me in the morning saves time.

Seriously, changing tires is easy, but not as easy as changing socks. I used to have just one bike for a lot of years...I am glad I have options now.
