Need help with a fender (PICS)

Hello

Iīm trying to mount some SKS Chromoplastic fenders on my commuter (hybrid, 700c wheels). The front one is already in place, but things ainīt looking so bright for its rear brother...

Two main problems:
1 The FD is protruding to the rear, thus needing the fender to be offsetted from the chainstay bridge with a cork or something to the rear

2 But... when I remove the wheel, the wheel has to be able to go a bit forward (due to the dropouts) and I am not sure that space is available..

All of the pictures are taken with the wheel in this position

So Im I right when I think that I dont have any clearance for fenders? or is there a workaround?
