So "urban assault" pretty much means striking fear into the hearts of city-dwellers.
I do it off of the bike all the time in winter, when I go into a store wearing all black and a facemask.
However, also being a big geek, but not a lawyer, assault is often used in place of attack in modern english. In this usage, the object of the assault doesn't need to be a human.
