Finally a 2009 ride - the wind still sucks

After patiently waiting out the single digit temperatures, the nasty, icy roads and the 50 mph windstorms I finally got the chance to get in a ride today - the first for 2009. I drive between 125-150 miles a day for my job so I don't get the luxury of riding at least twice every day for a commute.

What really sucked today was the wind - sustained 15 mph with a couple of gusts I'm sure that hit 20 mph or higher. Makes for a good workout though, albeit painful. But, can somebody tell me why the wind always stops AFTER the ride. Oh well, it'll make working on the chicken house a little easier.
