Having made this analysis myself, not very long ago, and after spending many years in a frozen, northern land, I came to the decision (brilliant, of course) to live in Colorado and New Mexico. I have year round riding, great mountains to climb, training at high elevation and always good snow with fantastic snowboarding. Tucson is pretty nice too, but.... it can be a bit hot, at least for me. There is a lot to be said for surfing on the California beaches but there are too many people and cars in California for my tastes. And it is spendy.

I am very glad to live here in the heart of the Rocky Mtns., riding at high elevations, especially when I do an event like the Triple By-Pass. (It seems to be a little trouble to low landers.)

No one can do this calculation for some one else, however. Too many variables.
