If you wind up in Spokane, you're gonna need at least 2 bikes, 1 Mountian and 1 Road. Now thinking about it, maybe a cross bike would be a good addition to the stable. Other than that, youre good! (unless you want to pick up a cruiser for just chillin and cruisin bike paths and parks, k you need 4 bikes now!) Ok if you want to ride, Spokane has it all, and the best part is the folks who live there.
