Navigate to Colliers, WV and then you can take the Panhandle Trail to Pittsburgh, then the GAP to Cumberland, MD, then the C&O Canal to DC. You can do it with 32mm or wider tires and a standard touring bike. It's beautiful and will keep you out of the congested and dangerous roads in this part of the country (coal trucks are killers).
