thanks guys, i thought it was a 73 all this time-thats what the guy told me i bought it from but you guys know best-thats why i askbikeforums all the time. however there is one thing you guys are mistaken on. on my confente there is an original decal towards the bottom that says johns on it. someone at bike forums said that was the shop it came from however i talked to a real confente expert and he said that that was the guy who painted confentes early la bikes and that was his bike. boyer told me the same type of story which i had forgotten.
