I say send squads into peoples' homes for surprise cupboard checks. Visits from the government medical techs with fat calipers to see if they can pinch an inch, and vials to fill with blood for the big lab downtown. A hefty Cheet-o tax on every piece of junkfood that goes in our mouths and for every extra pound. Anyone who argues for helmet compulsion on the basis of the public health burden should willingly endorse all of that as well.
