This isn't the trail Gina and I frequent. This one is a little more isolatd crom civilzation, IMO. It gets much hotter than the other trail. Although there are a couple of nice parks it's still tough to ration water as the parks are only a couple of miles apart. Not much shade ontheis trail. Along with some scary tunnels and underpasses, this isn't my trail of choice!
The trail we frequent has plenty of shade and parks in very convenient locations, equal distances allowing for refills at any time. Much more shade and smoother pavement. Plus the underpasses are short and wide, not many blind spots!
