I had a look on Wikipedia the other day and found a page on recumbent bikes but nothing on recumbent trikes. In fact the bike writeup was a bit scant, in the 'History' section did nothing really happen in the 1990s at all and in the 2000s just a few manufacturers close down?
Quote: "A number of recumbent manufacturers went out of business after the 1990s, including BikeE (August 2002) and Vision." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recumbent_bicycle)

Where is mention of Greenspeed and the most enduring and cloned design of trike? What about the forays of the major or mainly bike manufacturers into recumbents; Cannondale, Trek, Giant, Bike Friday, Burley coming to mind? Think of all the other recent innovations in recumbents, Cruzbike, the superbly made Challenge bikes, the recumbent riding groups and forums. Hell, even Craigslist and Ebay have contributed to recumbent bike popularity and availability.

So.... anyone up to rewriting history?
