Nice Mid-Week Ride

Wife was persuaded to take a slightly hilly 24 mile ride the inducement being breakfast on the way. Ride is through the nearby rolling hills, about 1000 ft. of climbing with nothing more than 7% grade. The wife did extremely well for not having done much climbing at all. She discovered the tiny 30t chainring right next to the BB. I'm still going to fit a 24t chainring on her triple 'cause the Tierra Bella 100K (Gilroy, CA) has more and steeper climbs. Stopped for lunch at about 15 miles at our favorite breakfast place, Flap Jacks in Tres Pinos, CA. If you're every on Hwy 25 on your way to the Pinnacles definitely stop for breakfast or lunch (closed on Tues). I've attached the obligatory pictures. No close range bovine sightings, only specks on the hill side so it's pretty much green rolling hills with steeper stuff in the background. Also, no self portrait this trip. Maybe next time.
