commute is right at 4 miles one way. on the way in it takes 15 minutes because of a huge downhill. coming home takes 25 minutes or so depending on how much i feel like pumping up that hill. it's on the "east-west connector" which does what the name implies (there's a river through the middle of town). the road is 55mph but there's basically a third lane of shoulder with a rumble strip separating so feels pretty safe.
