So far we have enjoyed the bike's ride. I ride a Trek Madonne for my single bike, and I have really enjoyed the three rides we've had on the Cannondale. It is very sturdy, yet comfortable. As for the shifting issues, I have noticed that it doesn't seem to have a problem shifting down, but when I try shifting up, it occasionally skips a sprocket. Part of that may be that I need to take it in to get tuned up since the cables have probably stretched in the first couple of months I've had it. I'll keep you informed.
