I lived in Nashville for 8 years. There was absolutely no way I would have commuted in that city. No shoulders, crazy drivers and I've never been yelled at or had so many things thrown at me in my life. I essentially gave up and just rode around my neighborhood. I hope they are able to follow through in their plans. It's a beautiful part of the country and would be great for bicycling and bike commutine.
