I was actually concerned about heel strike as was Lamplight. When just placing a shoe in the pedal and turning it the heels strike was pretty bad. However, when I rode it my feet naturally fall into a position of no heel strike whatsoever even with the Ortliebs forward on the rack. And it looks so classy.......
That's good to hear.
I, too, noticed that one is less likely to get heel strike when actually pedaling. I guess your feet just naturally move around at an angle.
