They'll last fine without a fridge.
Worked for me all through grade school.
+1 on this. When I started working in the factory way back when we didn't have microwaves or refrigerators. We brought our lunch to work in an old school metal lunch box and it sandwiches and chips and what ever we could stuff in there stayed fine till lunch. This was in Ohio where it got hot in the summer and all was well. Heck there are a myriad of prepared items these days that keep well without refrigeration.
