I made up my mind to make these when I first read the article. I was a bit nervous until I got the bags this past weekend. Seeing the bags up close and personal and regoing through that article, it is relatively easy.

One of my concerns was the sewing, but I came across this gizmo:

I have a plastic shop that has the plastic stiffener material nearby. For the lower cinch strap, I am going to use military web belts.

I estimate I'll be able to make these over a weekend. I'm pretty excited about it actually.
